Estimates
The rights calculator uses the fixed amounts and thresholds in the regulations, such as those in EU261 and UK261. It cannot see the cause of your disruption or your documents.
The result is an estimate. An airline, a regulator or a court may decide differently, for example by finding extraordinary circumstances or by applying a different rule. See sources and methodology for what the calculator can and cannot know.
Laws change
Rules, amounts and deadlines are updated or reformed. Every page shows the date it was last checked. Before you rely on a figure or a deadline, check that date and the official source linked on the page.
Liability
TripRights does not accept liability for decisions made on the basis of the site, or for missed deadlines, rejected claims or lost compensation, to the extent the law allows.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
